(no subject)
Lucy is acting completely insane today. She's in the kitchen, somewhere she NEVER hangs out. I hadn't seen her in awhile and went to see what she was doing and I found her sitting in there in the dark. I was afraid there was a mouse or something, so I sat and watched her for awhile. She proceeded to jump up into the kitchen sink and climb around, occasionally stopping and staring at the wall and ceiling, with her tail twitching like crazy. There is nothing in there that I can see. No spiders. No noise coming from the wall. I don't have a clue what she's after, if it's anything at all.
Shortly before Seth and I moved out of my old apartment into the house he bought, she went though this phase where she was staring at blank walls all the time. For HOURS. Honestly, it was creepy as hell. She'd just sit on our dresser and stare up at the wall like there was somthing there to watch. If you talk to her, she'll turn around and meow, but she quickly goes back to being on guard and seems 100% conscious and engaged in whatever it is she's doing. The only reason that phase ended was that we moved. She had no interest in the walls at the new house.
