I've done a lot of looking at eyes in the last few years. And I've had my eyes examined by A LOT of people - far more than a lifetime average of eye exams. I've heard numerous comments about my iris "freckles" and my cup-to-disc ratios that are hard to judge. Finally in my imaging class someone is taking photos of what they are doing, and I get to see my own eyes for the first time the way they do.

This is in the back of the eyeball, where the blood vessels and nerve cells pass through. It's called the optic nerve head.

I slept 12 hours last night. And a few hours later took a two hour nap. That's what happens after a week of sleeping 4 hours one night and no more than six the other nights.
