Poo. I'm all sick. On my vacation! My head is pounding. My throat is sore. My nose is all stuffed up. I'm supposed to be leaving my fricking apartment and interacting with actual live people and going shopping and using my camera. And instead, I'm laying in bed near tears because I feel like crap and it sucks.
I rented movies last night and have already watched two of them.
Failure to Launch - Rather unfortunate. It could have been a lot better than it was, but someone idiot must have been in charge because there were a bunch of dumb scenes, silly filler subplots, and glaring editing errors. It's like someone got bored and said, I'm sick of this one, lets just release what we have. The main story was good I thought and just should have been flushed out better. And Matthew McConaghy (?) is so yummy, he made the whole thing worth my time.
The New World - Kind of slow, but in a nice relaxing way. I love these historical movies. It wasn't great, and I can't put my finger on what was missing, but I did enjoy it quite a lot.
Match Point - To be watched, maybe this afternoon after a meal of chicken soup and advil.
