Tonight is the Suzanne Vega show. Yay. I really hope it doesn't rain as it's pretty cloudy out and this is an outdoor venue!
Tomorrow is my good friend's birthday and I want to get her something but can't think of a thing. I might stop at the bookstore and try to find a book she'd like. Anyway, I realized the date today with a start! "Phew, it's tomorrow." I'm pretty bad at keeping track of the days when I'm not at school/work and really thought I'd missed it!
I've started following Days of Our Lives again since being home so much during the summer. I don't know why, it's completely stupid. I love that you can literally miss *years* of the show and still be able to jump right back in. Watching it every day would drive me crazy, the plots are so obvious and move so slow, but I watch about once a week now. I love Sammy. Wish they'd bring back Carly and lose Hope though. I can't stand her.
I stayed up until 2:45am last night reading, not a romance novel, but one of those pulp fiction feel good woman's lit books that Seth's mom left behind. There was a lot of weird editing that needed to be done, like the woman would be driving along a road with the ocean to her left and then suddenly she'd make a left turn and head down a road... that what, went straight into the ocean? Very strange. And lots of hints about what a small town it was with only four stoplights and everyone always in her business... but then it had this great bus system and at least two big high schools that were convenient for the plot. Still, I got sucked in to the drama and couldn't put it down. It was set in some made up Washington coast town and I kept trying to figure out what town the author had used as inspiration.
Hmmm... I have lots more trip photos but I don't want to overwhelm anyone's friends page. I'll wait 'til tomorrow for the next set.
