question about The Amazing Race (no spoilers)
I've gotten sucked into The Amazing Race, if only because it's a reality show I not only would be willing to do, but would totally rock at. I missed most of the season, but caught the last few weeks, which leads me to this question:
What happened to the fourth place team? As we learned in last week's episode (and the episode's commercials, so no spoilers here), one team lost their passports and cash in a cab in Moscow. I would imagine it wouldn't be hard for the producers to track down the missing ID - they had cameras rolling the whole time and should have captured the taxi's plate number.
But at the end of tonight's season finale (no spoilers - promise!), as the winning teams arrived at the final pit stop, all the losing teams lined up to greet them -- except one: the team that lost their passports in Russia. They were nowhere to be found.
To be fair, the Final Three teams left Moscow the same night (apparently) they finished the penultimate leg there in Moscow, and I guess it could take longer than that to get the passports back and the spare team all the way to the Final Pit Stop, even if they could be recovered from the cab or cab company.
But there was no indication of anything on the finale tonight. No note in or after the credits. No "Oh, by the way" of any kind. I hope they're not still there. It gets cold in Russia.
