"The Great Schlep" is an effort to get Jews to visit their grandparents in Florida and convince them to vote for Obama. Sarah suggests threatening to withhold visits if persuasion doesn't work.
Seriously, though: I don't think Obama will win Florida. There is no way in hell all those little old Jewish ladies will vote for a schvartze. Even if he is a Democrat. They'll vote for the old guy and the nice, pretty lady with that poor *whisper* Down syndrome */whisper* baby, bless her heart.
