So much about Hillary Clinton's campaign has been pissing me off these last few weeks that I haven't been able to encapsulate them all into anything like a cohesive thought. Her refusal to do anything more than "disagree" with Geraldine Ferraro's patently offensive (for more reasons than simple racism) remarks is indicative of a pervasive effort to destroy her own party in the wake of her scorched earth campaign to win its nomination.
She is not what she should be. She is not what America needs in a President. It isn't because she's a woman. Or a Clinton. It's because of who she is and what's she become.
To me, every moment of her continued campaign is proof of why Obama is the better person and candidate. Unlike Hillary, he doesn't have to tear anyone down to raise himself up. He doesn't demonize, and he doesn't allow it in his campaign.
Here's Keith Olbermann's "Special Comment" from last night. He rips into Clinton for the Ferraro fiasco. Again, I think her problems run deeper than this, but this mess at least, finally, reveals the
picture in the attic.
