[For a long, long moment, the nyans have gone silent. Did she give up? Is she gone? Did she die? --No, probably not that. But the silence is ominous and deep, not unlike the presence of something rather than the absence of everyone.]

[The wooden floor creaks.]

[He claps his hands over his mouth to silence a gasp at the noise. Trembling, he tries to remain very still. She's in here, somewhere, looking for him...and though the nyans have stopped, he can still hear them echoing in his head, to the tune of the funeral march. Gathering scraps of courage, he peers over the lip of the tub.]

[His eyes meet Yenyoji's immediately. She's on the other side of the tub, peering over it, her ears perked high.]
