Sweetening the pot
A couple of days ago, I posted that I'm offering fic up for bid at 
help_japan, and that my offer post is here.
Which, yay! Bids! Right now, someone has bid to help China and someone has bid to help Japan, and each bid is £10 ($16) for a total of £20 ($32).
But here's the thing. My employer will do a financial dollar-for-dollar match as long as the employee contributes at least $75. I'm going to donate at least $75 to Doctors Without Borders regardless of what happens at
help_japan, but how cool would it be if bids for my fic exceed $75 and I matched bids for my fic instead (up to $150)? By my estimation, that would mean that the winning bidders would actually be helping to contribute up to three times their winning bid. Awesome? Awesome!!!
