And maybe you can help me with my own internal debate.

For as long as I can remember I have belived that reporters should be able to protect their sources, belived this to the point that I have enaged in many heated debates with those who feel otherwise.

So how is it that I can now think that this woman should be prosocuted for treason right along with her source? Some might think that it's because I feel that no price is too great to shut down Rove, and maybe that is the smallest part of it. On the other hand, we're talking about the endagerment of one of this countries agents in the name of a petty vendetta. We are talking about a man who used his connections to the press to out a CIA agent, an act of treason against America and her people. Given all of that do the normal rules really apply here? Or is this the exception to the rule?
