Cardboard Classic/Paul-Con 2010
Oh. My. God. I had an awesome time.
Well lets start off by the building.
Last year we built the Lagaan Head over the course of about a week in a big room.
This year we built 4 Pokeballs in my small-ass apartment in a FEW HOURS. HOLY HELL.
Granted the pokeballs didnt look amazing. BUT WHO CARES!? Rule #1 of C.B.C./Paul-Con is there IS NO SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Thursday
So Thursday Night Viking Steve drove over my place to grab the pokeballs. We had a problem: The pokeballs were too big to fit down my skinny ass hallway. D=
Steve basicly went DO EET BY FORCE!!! and we just pushed balls down my hallway....it was kinda like giving birth xD
We met up with Dani, Laura and Oshi!Paul...SPiffy came over later. We then spray painted the rest of the pokeballs.
We left at about 11. After a looooong drive we got to the hotel at about 1 or 2am. The hotel then tells us "You cant have 6 people in this room...only 4" Steve and I gave them evil eyes and said "we. said. there. were. six. people. online. and. you. all. said. it. was. FINE!!!" but after a brief little issue they just let us off the hook (SCORE)
We all then went to sleep!
FRIDAY
We get to the Cardboard Classic with no problem. Gay Shark Couldn't finish my Dragonite in time so i borrowed Oshi's Moltres Hoodie.
THE LINE UP:

Oshi - Articuno
SPiffy - Pikachu
Dani - Roseilla
Laura - Mewtwo
Gay Shark - Koffing
Viking Steve - Jigglypuff
We got seated behind this group of AMAZINGLY drunk people...who turned out to be amazingly friendly and awesome. we were high fiveing and chest bumping people. Little kids and adults knew what we were SHOCKINGLY. At one point we all did a group sing along with the drunk team which included The fullhouse theme, Family Matters theme and Step my Step...also a team shout out song which at one point included the words "WHO IN DA HOUSE....JIGGLYPUFF IN DA HOUUUSE"
CLASSIC.
We all get up to the top of the hill and get ready for our turn. the teams are
Pokeball 1 - Dani/Oshi (Roseilla/Articuno)
Pokeball 2 - SPiffy/Gay Shark (PIkachu/KOffing)
Pokeball 3 - Me and Laura (Moltres/Mewtwo)
Pokeball 4 - Viking Steve (JIgglypuff)
On the way Down Spiffy and Gayshark's Pokeball went down and Viking Steve's Pokeball flat out Tumbled and destroyed itself xD. Dani's pokeball and My Pokeball made it down.
One of the DJs hosting the event made a comment about spiffy saying "Wow that pikachu is Busty as hell!" I DIED.
Afterwards we all snowboarded in our costumes (which i wish we got more pictures of) that was epicly fun. it was Laura, Steve and Oshi's first time snowboarding. Laura didnt get off the mini bunny hill and desided to sit it out with SPiffy. Oshi and Steve gave it a good try and were doing some big hills by the end. Dani was a champ and crazy as normal. Gay Shark is a Snow Blader and just ROCKS THAT SHIT. Im also kinda proud of myself i was doing some pretty big hills towards the end and i only fell hard once. I WANNA GET MY OWN BOARD.
Afterwards we went back to the hotel to relax. A few drinks here and there and a hot tub. YES!
All and all it was an EPIC EPIC TIME. its happening next year. if you might wanna go lemme know :O
