Itsuki stood quietly next to his sister as they waited. Her tiny hand clasping his as she looked anxiously about. She'd relaxed a little after learning their mothers and aunt were here, but now she was just anxious to see them.
He made sure to stand back from the road and out of the way of any passers-by, his primary focus being his sister. He heard her whimper and turned to look at her. She looked sad.
"What's wrong?"
He saw her glance ahead, then down.
Understanding, he spoke again. "Its only been a few minutes. They'll be here soon."
She nodded and squeezed his hand. Itsuki squeezed back, smiling reassuringly.
The signal ended just ahead and Jinx scanned the street for a parking spot...perfect one right in front of...
she slowed the car and gave the children a good hard look. There was no mistaking it...they had features she'd memorized. Eyes that made her heart swell.
Pulling the car up to the curb and killing the engine she took a deep breath and let it out slowly checking herself in the mirror before stepping out. She was dressed in a dark black and purple sweater, skirt and stockings with matching scarf to make up for the chill October was bringing to the city.
Smiling at the children she approached slowly, "Hello there."
The two rushed towards the woman, there was no mistaking the bright pink hair and matching eyes. Throwing themselves at her, they clung on firmly, giggling and laughing. "Aunt Jinx!" The spoke in unison.
Moriko buried her face into her aunts chest while Itsuki treated her to a grin that seemed to go down to every Asakura male. It seemed almost like a 5 year-old Hana Asakura was currently attached to Jinx instead.
Jinx laughed and fell to her knees holding the children close to her, it as an oddly familiar feeling to her now having small children hug her so.
"Well I guess I'm in the right place!" She laughed and with a grunt scooped up the children, one in each powerful but slender arm, "Have you heard from anyone else yet? Noir, Tiffany, Sandy, Gar and Terra, even Nick are all here...in fact alot of my friends from the digital world are here."
Jinx was making some assumptions at who the children might know and how much they'd heard, "Even Gar and Terra's son Nick."
