Ever tried pickled herring with a watermelon? Some say, it’s a the best!
Does George Soros think likewise?
In his January 2, 2014 piece The World Economy’s Shifting Challenges, he concocts a wonderfully eclectic mix of everything: the Euro, Eurobonds, Russia, Ukraine, Syria, the Tea Party, global warming and….. the global governance.
This surely must be one of the crown jewels of George’s demagoguery: “Future crises will be political in origin. Indeed, this is already apparent, because the EU has become so inward-looking that it cannot adequately respond to external threats, be they in Syria or Ukraine. But the outlook is far from hopeless; the revival of a threat from Russia may reverse the prevailing trend toward European disintegration.”
Ukraine’s threat to the EU? Syria’s threat to the EU? Revival of a threat from Russia?? Seriously?
That’s an awfully huge amount of smoke to work with a humongous number of mirrors, George. All that for your personal crusade against the Euro and Madame Merkel?
Hilary Clinton said: “We need people like George Soros, who is fearless and willing to step up when it counts.” Ah, how interesting….
