Winter Homecoming!!
A couple of weeks ago, if someone had asked me if I wanted to go to Homecoming, I probably would be very iffy with my choice. Even after being forced to go, due to being chosen as sophomore attendant, I still had my doubts. But I was wrong in every perspective.
As I said in my last entry, I was escorted my Maddie at the Pep Rally, but since she had to go to the land down under :( (Tennessee), I got to go to the actual dance with Homecoming whore :), Melanie DeArdo.
I went to dinner at Mel's friend Natalie Hess's house. I was expecting a regular family dinner, where everyone freely reaches for whatever food they wish at any time. Turns out it was the best 4-course I had ever had in my life. It was all this amazing Italian food that would even make Mario and Luigi's mouthes water. I especially liked the dessert, the tiramasu (I can't spell). It had a layer of espresso stuff on top, which would go into effect a little later.
After dinner and photos in Natalie's living room, her boyfriend, Ryan Black, drove us to the dance. It only took him TWO tries to get us to the parking lot. Not bad hahaha
As soon as we (me and mel) got on the dance floor, the real dance had begun. We laid down every psycho crazy move in the book. And of course, every move was amazing. There was the typewriter, the snorkeler, the fondo-eating, the slap, the disco, heck, we even did some tango moves. Everyone was jealous.
