interesting time for me, im utterly broke at the moment, but after this month is done i should be back ro normal. and tax return soon, which my little chunk is going towoards a new bass amp, not a whole rig mind you, just the head. that means by april i should have the whole thing amp head and cabnets, everything i need to tide me over till i can afford an orange rig. as a band we have recorded about an hours worth of jams/riffige which we now have to arrange into songs. my goal is to get get three or four songs, at least one instermental, and at least one being over ten minutes long. this will make it possible to get the myspace page with some songs on it, that was one of my goals with this band, and its a very real possibility. after that maybe play a show, then try to make a little seven inch record. all in all this has been a lot of fun and very rewarding, and i dont se it falling short of the goals ive put forward.
art shows seem to be picking up with the weather getting warmer, so i should be having tables at some shows soon, ill keep everyone posted (even though no one usually shows up, but thats not a bad thing).
and valient thorr and gogol bordello in the same week in april, plus dan and i might be going to both shows, very exciting.
