fuck saying spoiler alert, just dont watch this movie
so i just watched the new star trek this weekend, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. listen i know they got around the whole star trek cannon with (and im making a dirty face when i say this) time travel, but why? wasnt it good enough, couldnt they just do a next next generation movie?
but my biggest complaint, and this is becoming more frequent was the soundtrack. i mean really sabotoge by the beastie boys? really?!? way to completely take me out of a future movie by playing a song that if im to believe it is 2233 in th movie would be 240 years old. thats like having mozart playing while christian slater gleams the cube over the death of his vietnamese step brother.
j.j. abrams better be cutting dr. emmitt brown a huge check for inventing time travel because as far as i can thats the only weapon in his arsenal.
