I don't want to think about how many PC games I've traded in over the last week or so. Seriously, I have so many cheap games I've boughtfor the hell of it, played a couple of times and never bothered with again. So, on the spur of the moment (since my impulses generally lead to good things happening) I took a load of them down to Gamestation to see if I could get anything worthwhile for them. One trip later, I walked out with Dead Rising 2, Crackdown, Alan Wake and Arkham Asylum. Granted, most of the games I traded in were worth about 10-50p each, but trade in enough and you get a healthy stack of cash in return for them. Plus I got rid of Fear 2 and The Last Remnant, which were worth about four quid each, and a couple of others were worth more. Add that to an Easter sale and the return of the 'two for £X' shelves (sorely missed over the last year or so) and I basically managed to get about £50-worth of games for about 8 quid (it should've been closer to £13-15, but I had some cash saved up on my loyalty card).
Of course, the really sad part is, for all the space I just cleared out of my games cupboard, I still have a ton of the bastards in there. And that's not including the PS1/2/Dreamcast stuff I have. Cheap games will be the ruin of me some day. I'd prefer it to be women (cheap or otherwise) but you work with what you have.
