red sox
The red sox just won the world series. I do not follow baseball (though I DO understand the rules of the game) but the intensive screaming outside for the past 20 minutes tells me that this is for real. damn. It sounds like there is a frickin' stadium outside my window, and I don't think it will end anytime soon. Yikes, sounds like some people are gonna have very scratchy voices tomorrow. And I thought it was the lunar howling society. woa
in other news, I saw my very first lunar eclipse and blood moon tonight. Walked over to the observatory wrapped in many layers underneath my sweats (gotta love MoHo attire) and looked through the telescope w/ Jess and Elsa. I think seeing the moon without the telescope was cooler because you got to see the whole sky. The stars were coming out too because the eclipse was making the sky darker than normal. Now I just need to experience a SOLAR eclipse and memorize the constellations and learn more about the planetary movements because as of now I know very little about such things. I SHOULD know about the placement of the earth and sun though, because of Kant...
So yes, that would be very important as it is so very basic.
so many things to learn, and it seems...very little time.

going to see bill cosby speak at umass on friday. I just need a nice little outing because the past few weeks have been so busy and icky. I am in need of both sleep and fun....and catching up on work. So the weekend will be chill. But, perhaps a spa/satc night sometime this weekend? A mud mask, chamomile steam facial, paint nails? hmm.... :)
anyway, I need to finish this Nationalism paper tonight. end post
