What a tragedy! I actually have a friend down there that I haven't seen for awhile, but I tried to email him and call him with no luck so far.
But anyway, I've got a rant. We keep seeing all these reporters and news people flying over the scene, or in a boat, and are any of them bringing food or water?! The Current Affair reporter on TV right now just said, and I quote, "but there's not one thing I can do to save them..."
Screw that dude! Bring them some food, you self-serving son-of-a-bitch! Or how about dumping all those cameras you've got plenty of room for and taking a few of the stranded victims back with you. Fuck you, there's nothing you can do! If the whole world felt as you do, nothing would ever get done!
If I was a millionaire with my own private jet or copter, you can bet my ass I'd be assisting in the rescue effort personally. And if Mr. Prez hadn't sent all our troops overseas for no good goddamn reason, perhaps we'd have troops here back home to help out even more! Ahhh, human nature... who the fuck can understand it?
