Can my day get worse? Of course it can... I just don't want it too.
Hey everyone
I cannot believe how bad today has been.
First off there was a crash on the way to work this morning. I got detoured around the crash and got to work late. It wasn't till I got home that I found out it was one of my classmates (from last year) mother that had been killed.
We got a call out first thing to a cow that was having a calf that was turned around. Myself and one of the vets went out and had to get past the crash. The dead woman was still behind the wheel and there was blood, glass and metal all across both sides of the road.
The cow was difficult, but thankfully we saved both mum and bub. The vet and I went back to the clinic and a rottweiler dog had gotten loose in the kennel room (broke down the cage door, dumb mutt) and started growling at me. I have a phobia of rotties but unfortunately as I am the smallest I got the fun job of climbing through the vents to grab the lassoo, I was able to grab it and crawl back out so we could lassoo the dumb mutt. I luckily didn't have to lassoo muttly but he gave all of us a run for our money.
Then a miniture poodle named Mozart who is a favourite of all of us (he comes in weekly for his bath, blow dry and brush) came in critically ill and now the decision has been made to put him down as he is too old for treatment to help him recover. Mozart had been with the clinic for many years and was a dog that was in boarding at the kennel's when I was in high school on work placement.
So to sum up, a shitty damn day.
