Gaming news and thought

I got a brand new pearl white PSP-3006 just 06APR.

Thought about to buy some DLC for Dissidia012 as well but lucky I have yet connected anything from my PSP online since my network is very bad.

Lucky why? If you happen to find some news about Sony vs one hacker; GeoHot, from a few recent months, and see the hell break loose just last week.

Let's see summary here:
1. GeoHot hacked PS3 and found private key for PS3 and PSP. (Private key is something sign for letting the console know that software or game is correct or copy right for the console.) Then posted them on his blog.
2. Sony started suing and somehow people used the said key to sign their custom firmware/homebrew/hacked games for playing them pirate.
3. Clip of how to use/making CFW signed on PS3 were posted on YouTube. Sony asked for IP of people who watch said clip from YouTube.
4. Sony on Count vs GeoHot and let him free with his computer being searched and a promise not to post anything on his blog and yes, no touching Sony's products.
5. Hell break loose last week. PSN was hacked, Sony just informed that customer's personal data could be stolen. They shutdown PSN for prevent further damage.

I don't know and won't accuse anyone doing it. Not justify what is Sony deserve it or not, it's user's end that got effect and it's not pretty.
