Tonight's seminar was an interesting cross between "good conversation" and "What the blibbering fuck are you people babbling about!?"
It... actually wasn't as wanky as I feared. I guess we got that out of our systems on Thursday? But it also featured things like a discussion of what would happen if someone seceded from the school and claimed McDowell Hall as their property, at which point someone else brought up the point that no, the analogy's not exact, a really analogous situation would be if someone claimed to own McDowell and to have been farming it for generations... And it just kept going in that vein.
I mean, it's not that I'm against thought experiments - I'm all for them! Gotta love the thought experiments. But at some point, it should be pointed out that crops, uh. Aren't grown in classroom buildings. I mean. Just to put that out there.
In conclusion, I am tired. And who knows? The conversation might actually make sense in the morning.
