A new series: Haibane Renmei. I've only seen the first episode so far, but unless the rest of the series goes way downhill in terms of quality, I think this could become a new favorite series of mine. The art and animation are both gorgeous, the music is lovely, the premise is intriguing, and I like what I've seen of the characters so far. Well, not the protagonist so much (she's the Innocent and Helpless type, which I always find rather annoying) but hopefully she'll grow on me.
