National Cancer Society Week of Action.

May 04, 2006 15:15

Okay, first, let me say that I don't often do this, so please don't mind this, it's very important. If you love your mother, your grandmother, your sister, your girlfriend, your wife, your best friend, and value their health or your own, please participate in the National Cancer Society's National Week of Action to stop Bill S.1955 which would eliminate insurance coverage of Mammograms and other cancer and STD screening programs that are necessary to treat and prevent certain cancers from developing. These treatments and screenings are what have helped the decline of cancer for the first time in the last 70 years, and without them or the proper coverage to get them, millions of women could end up with what was once a preventable or treatable disease.
Thank you,
Jax
