I like a lot of different type of movies. A lot of them are even bad, I admit that. Some of them I like because they're bad. Objectively I know there are people who will think a movie that I find genuinely good is actually a pile of crap, but I still find myself being almost insulted that these random people hate this movie that I love. Completely irrationally I just think that they're wrong and I want to tell them how wrong they are for hating this movie that is COMPLETELY AWESOME. They just think it's bad because they're stupid.

I have a very high tolerance for bad movies. As long as there's hot men, possibly some explosions, maybe some romance, and more explosions then I will probably think it is the GREATEST THING EVER. And sometimes the explosions are optional. I mean, I completely without shame love Someone Like You. But, again, I don't think it's a bad movie. Twister is a bad movie. But I will watch it every time it's on because of the FLYING COWS. The Day After Tomorrow is a horrible movie but it's full of pretty people and Dennis Quaid treks from DC to New York ON FOOT in a new ice age. That shit's just awesome.

I own Down With Love which is a movie that, truly, gets better with every rewatch.

I forget where I was going with this except that I rarely hate a movie (I hate A Clockwork Orange and that is the only movie that comes to mind that elicits a visceral reaction in me) and it bugs me when people hate movies I love because it makes me feel like maybe there's something wrong for liking the movie even though that's silly.

(Spoiler alert: In Wings Of Desire, the angel and the woman get together at the end; in City Of Angels, they get together and then the woman dies.) From this article about remakes. Except that I've seen Wings of Desire (speaking of, the German title is Der Himmel über Berlin which does not translate to Wings of Desire in any way shape or form) and I could've sworn the woman died at the end. Maybe it was just wishful thinking. The entire audience wanted her to die because she was so goddamned annoying. Maybe I blocked out the part where she didn't. But I could've sworn she took a tumble off the trapeze. Either way the German film is as bad as the American film. Except that Peter Falk is in the German film because Columbo was big in Germany in the 80s.

Ah. So that's Kyle Reese. OMG IT IS JONATHAN JACKSON. So obviously future John gave Kyle the photo because he knew John was his dad. Also, I find myself ok with this Kyle Reese being here. It's much better than trying to shoehorn him in to 2007.

Even if time travel still MESSES WITH MY HEAD.

Whoa. It's Andy.

Ok. So. If they ever succeeded in preventing SkyNet's creation that would prevent John's creation would it not? No SkyNet, no apocalypse, no time traveling robots, no reason to send Kyle Reese back to get to Sarah Connor, no conception of John Connor. I hate time travel.

I kind of love Charley a lot. "Little girl, you freak me the hell out." "Ok, he's a scary robot. You? You're a very scary robot."

Are we gonna get to see future John? CHEAT!

We are never going to find out who this kid's damn father is are we? JUST TELL US. JESUS CHRIST ON A FUCKING POGO STICK.

Oh my god. It is literally impossible for me to watch this (first 22 seconds) without cracking up. Every. single. time.
