Wait . . . what?

I am watching National Treasure 2 and I am confused. They're using a cipher and a diary and a treasure map that was in John Wilkes Booth's diary. The night Lincoln was shot. Which was 1865. So how is this cipher leading them to things that were made after 1865? Did I miss something? This is possible as I'm watching an iffy copy, but it seems this treasure and every thing was tied to the night Lincoln was shot. The guy was certainly deciphering the thing that's leading them to this treasure the night Lincoln was shot. Which was still in 1865. And supposedly that was going to lead these people to the treasure. In 1865. So, again, what?

But if Laboulaye hid clues before his death, then, the KGC still wouldn't have been able to find the treasure because the cipher led them to these clues which were in place after 1865. I DON'T THINK THIS MOVIE IS USING EARTH LOGIC.

Anyway. Torchwood is ahemming right now. All 2 episodes. Including the SPOILER episode. I'm weirdly excited. I will not rule out the possibility of my staying up however late I need to to watch them. Being unemployed is good for something. I get caught up on tv watching.

Minerva and her orange "I'm old enough to get into a bar" bracelet. This bracelet, by the way, is what my sister was wearing when she ran into my crush of yore. Sigh.

I'm not sure what she's just seen but it was probably very alarming.

This

Happens

A lot. Although not recently as the turtle is MIA. I have no idea what she's done with it. It's been missing for weeks.

I was putting X-mas decorations away and leaned the lid to the box against the wall. This was, of course, the perfect spot for her to "hide" and plot an attack.

See? Plotting.

This was, of course, right before she got in the box of X-mas decorations. She did not, as you might imagine, facilitate the process of putting things away.

Minerva may be strange (sticking her paw into streams of water so she can lick it) but she is like most cats in that she can't resist a bag.

Awww

A path of destruction. It's a good thing that tree only cost me a buck.

What?

This happens a lot too. Although that's my sister's laptop. She does it with mine. It's the classic "I can't see you so you can't see me" pose.
