So I tried this recipe I found

websites. It wasn't bad. It's Chicken Parmesan for lazy asses. It involved buying a bag of Banquet chicken patties (about $3), a jar of spaghetti sauce ($1), shredded cheddar, a slice of muenster, and grated parmesan. You cook the chicken according to the instructions (although I shaved 2 minutes off) then take it out and stick it in an oven safe baking dish, cover with sauce, add the piece of cheese (you can use any cheese and I had muenster. Honestly it didn't taste any different than actual chicken parmesan I've had), and I also sprinkled a little shredded cheddar on it as well. Cook it until the cheese is melted. I also cooked some vermicelli noodles just so I wasn't eating chicken. It wasn't bad. And it took 20. Plus I have like 8 chicken patties left and the jar of sauce is huge so I've got at least 4 more meals out of this all for about $8. I usually don't think about how much my meals cost, but when you think that you're getting 5 meals for $8 that's pretty good. It could be even cheaper if you didn't add the cheddar or parmesan which wasn't really necessary.

Also, I recommend this just for normal, but when buying parmesan (or romano) buy it whole and then grate it. It costs the same as the already grated stuff, but it lasts longer. I don't really know why but it does.

A little sampling of my evening with Minerva.

Minerva: I can has antennaz?
Me: No. *throws string at her*
Minerva: *spends 2 minutes getting her fat butt tangled in the string* then- I can has antennaz?
Me: No. *throws turtle at her*
Minerva: Whees! *plays with turtle* then- I can has antennaz?
Me: NO, GODDAMMIT! *squirts water at her*
Minerva: *resists water torture*

If I could afford cable I would just so I wouldn't have to constantly worry about her messing up my tv reception. What kills me is she doesn't touch it when I'm not home. If she did I'd come home to find it constantly on the floor. I don't. She only does it when I'm here which tells me she's just doing it to PISS ME OFF.

It doesn't feel as though I should be working tomorrow. I've decided that this working weekends thing sucks. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't spent the last weekend up for 24 hours glued to my laptop. Granted, a normal weekend can find me glued to my laptop but not for 24 hours.
