(no subject)
SNOW DAY! There is snow! And it is sticking! And it's still snowing! Actually I wasn't going to work anyway because my boss called yesterday and said he had nothing for me and it sucks because I need the money, but I'll work tomorrow and it just means it'll be on another pay check. I might go in this afternoon and stay an hour or so.
Still, Snow Day!
I actually wasn't going to stay up. I got up to use the bathroom and looked out the window and got so excited I had to call my sister.
Edit: It's 27 freaking degrees! It feels like 14! The snow SHOULD NOT BE MELTING!
We haven't had a decent snow since 2004. 2004 people! Then it didn't count because it didn't even get me out of class it just meant I missed Christmas with my parents. We haven't had a snow that closed down campuses since 2002? I believe that was the year the sidewalks on campus were covered in a solid sheet of ice as was the grass so there was pretty much no safe place to walk. It was awesome.
