[The darkened streets of a city at night are no place for a young girl. This is why a petite girl like Naminé looked considerably out of place in this scenario, she had no way of defending herself. Despite her situation, the girl looked a little less than worried, almost like she was used to being cautious in a place like this. Of course that's how ( Read more... )

Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was on.

Could you tell me where I am then?

Sure thing, sweetie. Sounds like you haven't found the hotel yet?

I guess this place is called Elegy City. We all get here on the train, and then it turns invisible when you get dropped off. We're all stuck here, courtesy of some mysterious benefactor, apparently. It hasn't been too bad so far, I guess.

The Hotel was the building across from the train station, right? I wanted to learn a bit about the city first, but it's easy to get lost.

[Balazs still preferred the night, likely always would, and he seemed perfectly at ease walking the streets on a midnight stroll as if the night answered to him whatever his request may be. He was a pale man, especially beneath the stray night lights, but beautiful beyond reckoning. He paused at the edge of the lamp's light when he saw Naminé sitting beneath it as if waiting for permission to enter. His voice sounded as though it were the night itself.]

...The night is not always a safe place for a young lady to roam alone.

Y-yes, well I suppose getting lost at this time of the day isn't a very good idea.

[The Baron smiled wanly at that.]

No, indeed not. However, this is not the Frontier I am from and I no not of its usual inhabitants--of the night or otherwise. Still... it would be wise not to venture into the darkness unaccompanied.

Being on my own is never much of a problem for me.

[Standing up, the Nobody brushed herself off a bit before meeting the Baron's gaze again.]

But I don't know anything about this place, whether or not it's dangerous at night. It was a little foolish to go off on my own like that.
