#06; [Action / Accidental Video]

[Despite of never really letting anything get to him, visibly at least, Kanda is feeling somewhat uneasy today. He hadn't seen Lavi (mistyredhead ) all day; he usually always turns up to say good morning before they leave for work. He doesn't think much of it at first, but as time passes, it's starting to get a little oppressive.]

[He leaves the flower shop he's working in early and heads home, "accidentally" wandering past Lavi's bookstore and stepping in to look around. He's not there. And when he finally tries to reach him through the Tone, it doesn't work either.]

[It's just a feeling for now, but it's getting stronger every moment. The same had happened with Lenalee, not that long ago. Disappearance, complete disappearance, and while he should be glad if both of them did went home... he also can't help but wish to have them here, somewhat. He can deal, though. He always can.]

[Back at the Hotel, he heads for Lavi's room, not noticing his Tone flaring to life and breaking down the door only to find it empty, as well, what only cements the fact that he must be gone. Kanda feels strangely melancholic about it. It's really been hard on Lavi these past few weeks. He was planning to pack a bag and wander around the city for days without getting back for sleep, hoping to imitate travel at least that way, and it was sad. Quite a lot so.]

[But then he spots a notebook on the bed, and even though he never needs to keep any belongings, it does pique his curiosity. So he heads over and picks it up, flips the pages to the last write-in and reads, the text not visible but his expression changing slightly, the frown fading into a blank, almost sad-but-not-quite curl. In the last paragraph, unlike most of the dry text, Lavi's actually mentioning how being trapped here is making him feel, and he sounds like he's losing it. Kanda snorts a little and closes the book.]

So it was even harder on you, bastard, and you never told me, even when I told you to.

[He's just muttering under his nose, but it can be made out if you listen closely.]

It's... a good thing you're out, then.

[He pauses and eyes the book. Lavi was never happy about people seeing any of his breakdowns or dreams or whatnot that would uncover the real him, save for his closest friends. So he should probably take it to his room, even if he has no intentions to read it. But that's what Lavi would want, isn't it? To keep his secrets, at least from other people.]

[And just because of that, he's going to follow through with it. Because during their stay here, Lavi was more of a pillar than he's ever denied needing. It's a shame, but at the same time, he's glad he's no longer suffering here, that oversensitive bastard.]

Doubt you'd want people to read it, so I'll be taking it.

...

Shit, why the fuck am I talking to a bloody book. Ridiculous.

[He turns on his heel and leaves, and the feed cuts off.]
