[About an hour after this incident, Rose finally made her way home. Well, she almost did.

The entire way to the apartment complex her head had been hanging and her feet dragging along the ground. Arms were wrapped tightly around a black scrapbook as it was hugged close to her chest. A couple passerbys asked if she was alright and they were merely greeted with that warm smile she always seemed to give. It was as easy to see through as glass but that didn't stop her from trying to make the world believe that she was alright.

When the blond finally did arrive at the Trekpartment, hesitance struck once she was in front of the stairs. She didn't want to see anyone right now. Not when she was like this. Dark eyes stared up the stairwell for a long, long time before her body eventually found the will to take that first step. After that, it seemed easy to continue on.

Mentally, it was easy. Physically? That was an entirely different story. Her halfhearted steps quickly caused problems. Once, twice, three times she stumbled. The fourth catch of her foot on a step caused her to topple over onto second story stairwell. It was then she resigned herself to just staying there and not going any further. That was easier, after all. Quietly, the demoness picked herself up only enough so that she could sit on one the steps. She scooted herself against the wall and curled into a ball; her head rested on her now tucked in knees while she continued to clutch that photo album close.

There were no sniffles or sobs or any noises, really. She didn't speak. Nor did the female move much if she moved at all. Sorrow seemed to resonate from the balled up girl, lingering in the air. It made for quite the somber atmosphere. There were silent hopes that no one would come by and, after a time, those hopes appeared to have been answered. Rose knew that it was too good to be true though. Eventually, someone had to come home or someone had to leave. It couldn't be avoided forever no matter how much she willed time to stop.]
