At the end of every decision, after the curtain sweeps the stage, after the last door closes on an opportunity... you look back, and you wonder what if. The sheer overwhelming possibility of missed chances, roads not taken. In life we understand that the choices we make affect all that come after it, and cannot be undone.
But what if you could walk the other path and test the consequences? What would you learn, and what would you take away from that precious window of opportunity, where you could experience the what-if...

A classic plot this time :) Each character has their own "what-if" scenario, their own alternate universe/AU. For the duration of this plot, characters will be living these AUs, whatever non-canon path each player wishes to take. These can be wildly variant from the original, or it may be more subtle. Characters will simply wake up the morning of Feb 1st with an entirely different mindset, as though it was just another day.
♪ Characters WILL NOT be aware of the change; they will believe the alternate version IS themself and has always been. They will also remember all their time in Elegy.
♪ Other characters WILL, unless worked out by the players otherwise, recognize that other characters have changed.
♪ Physical changes WILL be manifested if required by the AU change. (ie; if your AU is a genderbend, the character WILL change gender for the week!)
♪ Characters WILL remember this once the plot ends, so plan your brain breakage accordingly.
