[The video feed comes on apparently on its own as the Tone appears to be sitting on the bed. The view is partially obscured by Spock’s lyre, so it’s probably safe to assume that he’s been playing- at least before the feed came on. Spock, however, is conspicuously absent, until he wanders into view, then out again, apparently pacing the small room

[There are the remnants of an interrupted chord in the air as he answers.]

[ She catches the sound despite not having heard it for some time. She also caught the Vulcan mumbling, which is an even worse sign than the pacing. ]

What's been troubling you?

There are several things that concern me.

Sometimes expressing them can be as helpful as going over them logically.

Indeed I was. It seems to make things somewhat less insistent.

[There is a short, though significant, pause before he answers.]

[ Laughs a little to herself. ] I find I end up humming along with it often. Not sure if I randomly hummed before though. [ She totally did. ]

[ She smiles wide to herself, but tries not to get too distracted by how much her heart swelled at the thought. Something told her the sappiness would go unappreciated. ]

I could come and sit with you if you'd like, Spock?

[ voice ]

[ She rolls her eyes even if he can't see it. ]

I'll be there soon.

[ A indeterminate amount of time passes before there is a knock at his door. ]

[ action ]

[He opens the door moments after her knock, letting her into the room. His lyre is still sitting on the bed, though he does appear less concerned than he did in his post.]

[ She's giving him a look when he opens the door, an interesting mix of amused, happy and perturbed. ]

Spock, seeing you is hardly an inconvenience.

[ It's obvious she has thought about this on the way over. ]

I simply do not wish to be a distraction, should you be otherwise occupied.

[phonologic]

[ She brushes past him into the apartment, taking note of the lyre. ]

If you need me anything else I'm doing is unimportant. Besides, Starfleet had me well trained with rank and all. [ She hopes he catches the teasing tone in her voice. ]

Is there any particular reason why it's bothering you now?
