[WHO] VARIOUS; Characters who try to fight but are captured [WHERE] Around the city [ABOUT] The morning after this post, the Libretto make their decisions about what they'll do

Her plan was not to just go with them, like she had done when the Purge began. This time, she was going to continue fighting for her freedom, no matter how small it was here or anywhere else. Unfortunately, she didn't know her way around the city as much as she would have liked, and so running into those people they were after.
Choir, she seemed to recall the word being used. Which she used as she tried to fight back, her weapon out, reaching forward and pulling them into her grasp so she could land a punch or two, a kick where needed. However, doing that did have a downside in the form of not always being able to get to everyone, and she didn't have the help of other members for this.
She was grabbed relatively easily, a few punches landed when she didn't go quietly. Instead, as soon as they had her in cuffs, she went along with them, only stopping once to try and land another kick, which was put away quickly as they punched her hard enough to knock her out.
She didn't even notice when she was thrown into the jail type cell of Block G.
Confronted by the Choir, the first thing Kenzaki did was reach for his Rider belt. It took him two seconds to realize he didn't have it. His mind took an additional second to think, Oh, shi- before the fight commenced.
Even without Blade, though, Kenzaki refused to back down.
Which resulted in his being thrown into a prison cell. ...At least he wasn't in a straitjacket this time.
And at least he hadn't actually been defeated. It'd come close, several times, but he'd had the sense-he had to think of it as sense, because it would be cowardice, otherwise, and it just...couldn't be, in this situation-to offer a surrender. He didn't want to think about what would have happened if they hadn't taken it.
"Anyone here- Hey!" He crawled quickly over. "Hey! You okay!" He reached out to shake her, thinking about getting her to wake up without considering he might be jarring any of her injuries.
"Ow!" Vanille said as she was shaken, opening her eyes slowly, as it felt like her head was pounding with every little move she made. It took her a moment or two to get reorientated, and when she finally was, she blinked slowly, looking at the man who was sharing the same cell as she was.
"Hey," She said, sitting up slowly and stretching around, trying to see if anything was in serious damage or if it was minimal. Her shoulder and head hurt her the most, and she found her ribs tender. All in all, not so bad.
"They got you too, huh," She said with a sad smile on her face.
Er. Kenzaki retracted his arm when she protested, and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry about that."
While she checked herself over, Kenzaki did the same, and had a jolt when he glanced at his right leg and saw green. His blood. That was pretty weird, man. He pulled the torn edge of his pants to cover it. Must've run into something or other while fighting; his opponents hadn't had any knives. Or at least, that he could see.
No major cuts anywhere else; some bruises, some soreness; his head kinda hurt but that was ok. The music was still working; that was a relief.
"Yeah, they did," Kenzaki answered, careful to keep his cut hidden and turned away from her as he sat down. "Fighting," he added ruefully, "is too reckless. I should've realized- Uh, anyway. You okay?"
The music was something she was still getting used to. The fact that it was still playing made her head ache a little, but that could also have been from the beating she took.
It was hard to fight at times without back up.
"Its only reckless if you don't have anyone to back you up," She said with a grin, looking at him as she settled back.
"I'm fine. Probably some bruises in the morning, but nothing that bad!" She grinned, ignoring the swelling that was starting in her wrist. Nothing really hurt anywhere; it was more of an ache.
"That's true." Kenzaki grinned in return. "Not having armor is pretty bad, too." Being tossed five feet or so (Kenzaki hadn't exactly measured) into the air had been about the point he'd decided he needed to surrender. As Blade, that wouldn't have left much bruising by itself, and right about now Kenzaki couldn't believe he'd chucked the buckle away and hadn't stopped to pick it up again.
But then, he hadn't anticipated he'd have to fight anymore, either. "Hope everyone else is all right. The ones we were protecting especially." It wouldn't have been that bad if they'd all been adults, really. Even if they couldn't take care of themselves (in combat), they were still adults. But there were children, and they'd been accused of murder along with everyone else. What a heartless person, that Maestro was. He hoped Esther and them were doing well; the high point of getting separated was that she, and everyone else who'd joined her, were still out there.
"Anyway, I'm Kenzaki! Heh...bad circumstances, but it's nice to meet you."
"That too!" She said with a laugh. Sure, they were in a cage and unable to get out and do anything. But this was simply like when she was on the ride for the Purge, though this time she wasn't stuck within a robe and weighted down that much.
But then, that had been by choice, as well. This wasn't.
"I hope they're okay, too. I wish I was protecting some, but maybe its a good thing I wasn't!" She said with a slight smile. "Nice to meet you, Kenzaki. I'm Vanille, and yeah, bad circumstances, but its nice to meet someone new, no matter where!"
"Well, you were fighting, weren't you? To protect those people who couldn't do it themselves, right?" Kenzaki supposed she was talking about actually guarding someone with their bodies. Which was a pretty weird thought-Kenzaki wouldn't have wanted someone he was protecting to be on the battlefield-but maybe it was just different circumstances. Hirose and Kotaro had been in fighting range more than once in those days.
"Anyway," Kenzaki turned awkwardly from where he was sitting to look at the door. "We should see about this door. Maybe it's loose, or something." He hoped Vanille might get up first, so he could tie the edges of his pants together and hide his blood while she wasn't looking. If she didn't, he'd have to think of something else.
