Random update:
Looking for a new job because mine's sort of ridiculous. I can't go to the IndySwing Classic this weekend because I have to be at work on Saturday for "guest relations" as leadership. People don't want leadership or guest relations, they want coffee. If they want guest relations, they go to the front desk or bellstand. Whatever. I cringe to leave Marriott because I enjoy working there and the perks are nice (Ex - $35/night rooms for the IndySwing Classic that I had to cancel my reservation for today). One of my friends works at a hotel downtown and they're replacing her position with a full-time and a part-time position, one of which is an Administrative Assistant position I applied for today.
BJ and I changed our wedding date from May 2009 to November 2008. I had initially wanted to wait until May to make sure everyone was out of school and all that, yadda yadda. Then I realized that whomever would come in May would come in November, too. I'm sort of at the point where I don't really care who comes. Do I want the people I care about to come? Yeah. Of course I do. But in reality, I know a lot of people can't come. BJ says coming here for a wedding is different than just coming to visit me. I don't know that it is. But whatever. I don't care anymore. I've stopped trying to get people to come visit me. I know I'm the one that moved away and it's my fault no one visits me. Whatever. *shrug* My wedding's Thanksgiving weekend this year. You can come if you want. Invitations will be sent out. :)
Dance is going well. :) It makes me happy. I went social dancing for the first time in a long time this past weekend. BJ and I drove up to Cincinnati w/our swing club (which we're now calling ourselves - MBS, but I don't really know what it stands for. I'm not really sure anyone does). Cody told me that I'd better come so that I'd stop complaining about being underage since they go to clubs around here to dance and they're all 21+. Next week, we decided during my lesson we were going to go over every dance I know and set a record. We're doubling our previous record of number of dances in a lesson. We listed 20 that I know. That's crazy.
School's still going well. Accounting's still annoying (which I'm supposed to be working on right now, actually) and I still love my massage classes. I'm undecided whether I'll go back to UK next January or Sept 2009. Depends, unfortunetely, on money. Bah.
That's pretty much it for me. I'm tired and need to go to sleep so I can go to work tomorrow. Period end is this week and I'm not completely done my invoices yet like I wanted to be. I have almost all of them except for the ones that will take a long time. Probably should've done them first. Oh well.
