Don't you? In all seriousness, sometimes I do. I was watching an Arthurian thing just now with the boy (our last day together for a few weeks) and I saw something that hit me with a beautiful subtext appropriate to both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. I even forgot about what we were watching and reached for my writing journal. I just need to revisit the opening scene and the final scene of TSNNAM. It works, it was what was missing.
It is what was missing and ties with the core premise of the entire freakin epic. I like it. Might surprise some when they see it, but I like it. So ends the tale.
