-The Masquerader -

We all as children are named. From birth, our mothers and fathers give us a name. In school, we are named the "students" with our placement to learn. In a restaurant, we are called the "customer" or the "waiter", even "manager". We are given a name for a reason, as that reason is to earn it. If you are into the Japanese pop-culture and have a inaccurate look of Japan , you might be called a "Weeaboo". If you are against to cooperates and follow DIY ethics, you'd be called the "Punk". Love to rock in the metal? I'm sure you'd be earned the title "Metalhead".

In times in our lives, we have the yearn to fit into a crowd, either being out or in. When we are finding ourselves, we explore another. In ones vision, we'd be whatever the crowd's called (Goth, Visual, Hippies, etc). As in their eyes, you are to them a "poser". A poser, by dictionary.com definition, a "person who poses". In all, just someone you are not. We all end up doing this, changing into something. We will be comforted into it somehow, either be for short, or prolonged. As to wrap it up, no matter what you call or dress yourself up. No matter what mask you put on or how long it stays, if you do it because you think you deserve it (and not the people around you who feel you earn the title), you pretty much thrown yourself to earn the name "poser" instead of what you wanted.

I know many reasons why we do things as such. From appealing to another, to the desire to be another. I've seen some people want to be someone, and become their poser. Is it all bad though to do such acts? No. Why? We are growing to become something. We are always changing, and becoming something else. We are in life's acquisition, to find our place and ourselves. I myself have tried to be whom I've idolized, and to fit into a crowd, though I've realized I can't. Since I change so much, I never bother. I do what I do and live how I want. I choose not to label myself really anything more then my own name, and "Morgana". Whether I fit in or not, I'm doing it by being myself.

So, to wrap this all up, I have always looked to a wonderful quote fitting in this:
"Be yourself, because everyone else is taken." ~Oscar Wilde.

This actually is one of my favorite debates. Its so ridiculous and hilarious, I'd love to share it among you all! I always seem to jump right back to it so much when ever I talk to my fellow peers. As yet, its a huge fear of theirs.

I hope you all have a good night my darlings. <3
