There is so much going on right now in my life and in a lot of my friend's lives too. Two of my best friends are going through family issues. My mom is going to be admitted into the hospital on Wendsday for laser surgery to kill precancerous cells. I have to cram for my permit test in a few weeks. My brother's girlfriend is in London right now and was there for the terrorist bombing.
i am just so confused on alot of things too. I have always had a strong connection with God and have always been friends with people who shared my relationship with Him. But now that i am in high school and that i am older, i see all the horrible things that happen to good people. Why does God allow bad things to happen to nondeserving people? Why does He allow murder and rape to innocent people? These are two of the most asked questions i get from my nonbelieving friends. Now let me make a few things clear...
1. I don't judge people on their belief system. If you don't believe in God or if you are having issues believing in HIm because you have gone though shit in your life, i am not going to force a bible and prayer service on you. I respect your beliefs but if you come to me with questions or concerns or you need someone to talk to about that stuff, then i am here.
2. I am not an expert on God. I do not know everything about him or every word in the bible. All i know is what i belive.
3. Sure my relationship with him is strong but i have my doubts just like everyone else, especially in times like these.
Anyway, this is my answer to above questions and this is all i can say, "without pain and suffering, there would be no compassion and love." So for all my friends that are having issues with God because you are going through a hard time, just remember that quote. You all have friends that love you unconditionally. All your friends are there for you if you need someone to talk to and i'm sure that they would be happy to help. Now this is where i want to say thank you to my closest friends that have really encouraged me and helped me this year, people like Nicole, Shaun, Stephan, Holly, Lauren, Brittni, and Ashley. I don't know what i would do without you guys.
In closing i just want to say that i love all my friends and i will be there for ya'll if you need me.
