Some Hard News
This boat has gone on for two years. With two others I crafted this boat from nothing and worked hard to make it a fun place to play. I'm not kidding when I say the secret ingredient is love. I loved this boat very much, but somewhere along the way the boat slipped out of my fingers. It grew, and I'm happy to have seen it grow, but with the size came a whole host of other issues that formed, and for the past few months I'm sure you've all noticed that I haven't been posting.
There's been a lot of changes to my life, and in the past year I was in the hospital for nearly a month. This has left me with some health problems, some physiological weaknesses, and with the added stress of piloting this boat my health has started to suffer in a serious way. I've tried cutting back, but it hasn't helped.
I'm sorry, boat, but it's time for me to go. I want to thank everyone I've played with: you taught me more than you could ever know. I want to thank everyone who I haven't played with: reading your threads has taught me a lot about different characters and mindsets. I want to thank everyone who put in the hard work of helping me mod: the friendship and comraderie has been a precious experience.
My backpack is packed and is sitting in the hall. My bootlaces are tied, and all that's left is the final handshake and hug. So here they are: thank you, Elegante, and keep on sailing.
