So the princess wanted to be human again, and the prince wanted to keep an eye out for her. It'd be cute if Facilier cared about that kind of thing. In fact, he thought it was rather silly. He only did bad things to people who deserved them, you know? Or if he thought he'd get some amusement out of it. Or if it had a higher purpose. Okay, who was he kidding? He did bad things to people all the time. But here on the boat? He'd get nothing out of it, so there wasn't any reason to worry. And Odette would pay the voodoo man back in time, once he thought of something that'd be of worth on the ship.
But she wanted Facilier to lift her curse, so that's what'd he do. Admittedly, he had never tried to remove someone else's curse before, but it'd be interesting to try. To see how far his limits were. The illusion he used to lure Jennifer was one experiment, and it seemed to work all right. Not completely up to par to what he could usually do, but it was something. And knowing that would come in handy later. But for actual spells, he still didn't know what he could really do under the Captain's supervision. So this would be experimental. No, he wasn't doing this out of the goodness of his heart.
So Facilier waited on the top deck, enjoying the comfort of a deck chair, arms behind his head. Yes, he'd just wait for the pair to show up.
