Finding a gem on the Isle Des Saphir

Location: Isle Des Saphir, Mirage Opium Emporium
Date: Wednesday evening, a few hours after everyone arrives

The town on the island was certainly different from any Phoenix had visited before, but the locals were friendly enough, if somewhat odd in appearance. After adjusting to the sudden change of location, Phoenix found himself warming up to the place. It was a change, something different from the ship he'd been on for something near five months.
It was also a much more relaxed atmosphere than the ship had been these past few weeks.
All of this meant that Phoenix was in a pleasant and social mood when evening settled in. And why not? Part of exploring one's new surroundings is exploring the people, too. Mirage Opium Emporium. While he did not indulge in drugs of that sort, he'd been told it was a good place to find other things as well. A good drink, a place to sit...
And perhaps a pleasant companion.
Smiling, Phoenix strolled down the street with an eye out for all three.
