Hello, again, passengers! All passengers! Starting right now in Sergei's, we are throwing a party! The party is a Thank You To Odette Party, A Happy Birthday to Lily party, and a Happy Saint Patrick's Day Party! All in one!
And really, if you have nothing at all to celebrate, come celebrate anyway! You can celebrate whatever you like! We have food and drinks and music and we will be going until the last of us falls over.
And when you come, make sure to say Happy Birthday to Lily!
[When people arrive at Sergei's, there is still music playing-- not all Jazz, either. There is a table of food, with a very large cake on one side and a small stack of birthday candles, one for each slice of cake. There are drinks on the opposite side of the room. The whole restaurant is decked out in green for Saint Patrick's Day.
There is a big banner on one back wall that reads HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILY AND THANK YOU, ODETTE in very fine, steady lettering. Attached underneath that banner is one that reads AND HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY in different handwriting. Attached underneath that one, in the same lettering as the first, CELEBRATE WHATEVER YOU PLEASE. It seems someone couldn't make up their mind as to what they were celebrating. They cover the better part of the wall.
Naveen will be greeting people at the door until he gets bored of that and goes to mingle with the revelers, the whole time, clutching a ukulele, playing along to whatever song that's playing that he knows or thinks he can improve upon. Once Odette arrives, he'll be with her, and might even vanish from the party to talk to her.]
