Donatello had been peacefully arranging his scavenged wires, dutifully checking over each one of them to make certain nothing crossed where it shouldn't and that none of the crude splicing had come undone. He could probably begin connecting them to the shell of what used to be an alarm clock soon, and that was good.
And then there was Mikey.
"Hng!" Don jerked his hand away from the alarm clock at the banging, pulling several wires with it, and he winced. Well, there went two hours of work.
Mikey...
With a soft growl, Don stood up and stalked across the room, struggling to keep his irritation down. This only worked somewhat, and he pulled the door open with a heavy sigh. "What do you think you're doing?"
If Mikey could read Don's irritation, he managed to look blissfully oblivious.
"Donnie, Donnie! You'll never guess what I heard!" He practically bounced from one foot to another, hands clenched in front of his chest. Oh man this was going to be awesome.
Donatello eyed Mikey's bouncing with a wary air and then leaned against the door frame with a crooked eye ridge. Obviously this was something Donatello either needed to know right now if only to keep his baby brother from getting himself killed antagonizing the wrong person, or this was something he should be running away from as fast as his turtle legs could carry him. Possibly it was both.

This had better be good.

All clear.
Turning his head, he peered to the right.
Not a soul.
Still, he didn't want to take any chances. Leo was a ninja, after all. Cupping his hand around his mouth, he leaned in with a loud stage whisper.
"Leo's a pervert. Some guy's real ticked off at him."
