Zelda had not tried to seek him out. Many times she relied upon intuition. What she did know was that whatever warm feeling she'd had when she came aboard was one hundred percent gone. She still had that desire to rush around and help everyone else who needed it, but there was certainly a metaphorical part of her missing. She couldn't just hole herself up in her room either, even if she had wanted to. If things didn't work that way in Hyrule, they weren't going to work that way on the ship. Eventually people were going to wonder what had happened to her and it would result in her causing a huge uproar.
She couldn't think of another place to go. She didn't want to be somewhere that people knew of him. In a way, she wanted to be left alone, but at the same time, she longed for a socialization that would somehow distract her from ridiculous thoughts. It resulted in the video arcade. The one thing she hadn't done in her arrival was to truly look around. The first time she'd met Kage there. The second, it had been Erol. And apparently the third time was the charm.
