Characters: Campers, Ilian, Razer, Batou, Even, Kage, Pan, Giovanni, Iodine, Reno, Rude, Alucard, and Kamui.
Location: The Carnival.
Date: Now.
Rating: AT LEAST PG-13, maybe M. THERE IS VIOLENCE HERE PEOPLE VIOLENCE.
As requested, you have assembled yourselves in front of the Camp Carnival doors on Thursday the 25th. The two crew members with you look grim; the stoic first mate looks almost military, MP5, pistol and bulletproof vest included; the masseuse is wearing some sort of leathery armor, and metal claw caps.
Kage glances around at everyone, then speaks.
"You're here 'cause you want to be. If you're afraid of death, turn back because I'll be locking us in so nothing gets out into the ship proper. We're here for the security tapes which are in the security booth. We're going in, grabbing them, and getting the fuck out of Dodge.
"Say your prayers and remember that if it moves, kill it. Zeshat protect us. Let's go."
With that, he unlocks the doors, and you step inside.
The doors shudder as Kage closes them behind your little group of adventures, and you realize how dark it is in here. The room is big - impossibly big - and the ceiling is a sky, a cloudy dark sky that looks almost ready to storm. Distant, tinkling music fills your ears - music like that of a carnival, indeed, but warped, put down a notch into a minor key.
When you get a good look around, you can see that you're standing on the top of a long ramp. Barbed wire borders both sides - all sides - so that you're trapped, and there are only three branches down. In the center of the room is a large carousel...but those aren't plastic horses turning. No, they're definitely real ones, with huge grotesque fishhooks plunged into their backs. They bob up and down, deda eyes glazed, turning and turning. Their heads toss in agony and weakly their bloodied hooves paw the air, finding no purchase, no grip to escape.
The sky casts a greenish light to everything, making it bruised, beaten, run down.
This is definitely one of the worst carnivals you've ever been to.
[OOC INFO.
We will be splitting you all up just after you get your reactions to the place in, so dont go too far. <3 This is the formal log to start it off, but commentlogs on personal journals are fine as well. Just remember that your characters cannot actually use their communicators in the Carnival - there's too much static and disruptance.
Have fun!]
