Characters: Castiel [open to everyone] Location: Begins in Sergei's, will potentially move to some of the bars on Deck 08 Date: Present (backdating is welcome, for you hiatus'd peeps) Rating: PG, potentially PG-13
"I believe so." Castiel ignores the glass in favor of the bottle. He pauses, hand hovering over the cap of his bottle of Jack. "Actually...can you also grab me a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of tequila? Any kind will do."
And who is this lovely lady slinking in to slide onto the stool beside him? It's Grapple! Once settled, she flashes him a grin. "Didn't think you were actually going to listen to me."
Oh hai Grapple. Castiel gives Grapple a look, "My research is getting nowhere. Especially since I no longer have to worry about Lucifer destroying my world."
Wow, way to be depressing around pretty ladies, Cas.
She nods, making a small sound before distracting herself with the selection of alcohol within her reach. Standing up on the footrests of her stool, Grapple reaches for a bottle of rum.
"You believe it then? Everything that they're saying?"
Grapple is refusing to accept what's been told as fact until she sees it for herself. A vision, however disturbing, counts for little in her opinion. There are many from her home world capable of putting images as such into ones head, so to her, it's not much proof.
"I believe it. Or at the very least, I have not been given a reason to doubt its validity so far."
Castiel follows her example, grabbing a bottle of whiskey for himself. He uncaps it and takes a long drink straight from the bottle. Mmm, delicious...carrots?
Well whether he likes it or not, Castiel is in for some company. Kevas is at the bar with a bottle tequila that tastes like mead. It's the best thing he's found so far.
He gives Castiel and nod, "Hey dere mon." That's a face he hasn't seen before. Potential drinking buddy or barroom brawl waiting to happen? Only time will tell.
Hey, look, Xanxus is here, too. He doesn't even notice Castiel sitting right next to him because all he's focused on is finishing this glass of whiskey.
Unfortunately for Xanxus, Castiel is a bit of a talkative drunk tonight. He's about halfway through a bottle of rum when he finally notices Xanxus sitting next to him.
Xanxus has drank enough alcohol to be a little more mellow. Though he's still not exactly thrilled about conversing, he's at least willing to give Castiel a response.
Yuna doesn't drink, and she has no intention of drinking any time soon.
However, she's more than familiar with what it does to people - citizens in Spira had a tendency to resort to its consumption on many occasions. Anything to distract them from the destruction Sin caused, after all.
Either way, Yuna likes Castiel, and she'd rather keep an eye on him just in case he...well. In case he does something stupid (assuming he hasn't done that, already).
So, Yuna's just going to take a seat next to him and hope for the best.

Castiel is a bit of a chatty drunk, Xanxus.
Or at least, a tactless drunk.
