The performance had gone exactly as Erik imagined it would. Anna had been absolutely amazing, just like he knew she would be. He had been so proud of her, and he intended to show her. But for now, she could revel and be happy with her friends, before he swooped in to carry her off.
Sergei's looked ready for the occasion. The bar was staffed and there seemed to be a never-ending supply of alcohol. This really was like a gala at the Populaire. Erik made sure to stay out of sight while he scanned the crowd of party goers. And while he intended on keeping an eye out for a particular attendee, he wouldn't let her distract him from Anna. This was her night and it would be terribly rude otherwise.
