Where there was a party there was alcohol, and where there was alcohol there was Kevas. This was the kind of party he loved. Nothing like that damn ball they were forced to go to earlier. This was relaxed, casual, and more importantly Kevas was still the right species.
Now it was time to get a head start on the drinking. If all goes right, Kevas will wake up somewhere on the floor. If things go really right, he might wake up in a ladymon's bed. A troll can hope.
While Alice was terribly fond of whatever that wine had been last time, she isn't quite sure about the punch that's on the table, or anything that's behind that bar. She's had her light shares of brandy and sherries back home, but all of that looked a bit complicated and rather as if it would induce an awful headache.
As she's contemplating all of this, she wanders right up to Kevas, hands on her hips.
Kevas knocked back his entire glass and stood there, smacking his lips waiting to see if anything happened. When it was clear he was not about to shrink/grow/turn into a goat he smiled back Alice.
She waits along with him, a satisfied (but also mildly disappointed) look on her face when he finishes the drink and no strange things happen.
"Well, it certainly seems as you are in luck this evening - all of the intoxicating beverages you could possibly wish for, and no animal ears or parts or rainbows.
She may have been disappointed but Kevas was quite happy to still be his same old self. Still, the night was far from over. There was still plenty of time for something odd to happen. After all, nothing on this boat was exactly normal.
"Rainbows? Don't know how a mon could end up bein' part rainbow. Den again, on dis boat we might just find out one day."

"Is there anything in it, I wonder?"
