Celeste isn't a nice person. She doesn't save others and she doesn't make sacrifices for anyone but herself.
But Hajime asked her to save a little girl, and for some reason - this time - she felt obliged to help. Besides, with her weapons back, why not get a little exercise?
Of course, that was all fine and dandy - as long as she was hacking away at the ones with shitty swords. The odd pirate with a gun was not so easy. Since they weren't aiming to kill, Celeste had managed to protect her head from any bullets... but they tore through her fragile body like a stray baseball through a neighbor's window.
After sweeping one deck, she'd return to the stairs and head to the next. She had nothing to lose. If she died, well - then she'd be safe from being captured. And if she lived, she'd do her best to find Niamh.
And if she was captured, well. Who cared?
"Niamh!" she yelled down the hallway. There were a few bodies of pirates on the ground. Some trigger-happy passenger must've been through here earlier. Celeste was a little worried that the girl'd been killed or taken, but she had to keep looking.
