It's more than I dare to think about.

Characters: unamvirtus and havea_heart.
Location: Herz's room.
Date: August 23rd.
Rating: R for LINK RAGE and more possible talkings?! Goodness what is this with him and speaking lately.
Summary: Link has a brief conversation with tanvirus that ends in Link legit flying off the handle. So naturally, he goes to Herz's room. For some reason.

For the first time in a while, Link was angry.

No, angry really didn't cut it this time. Link was furious, indignant, devastated, betrayed-- a giant proverbial cloud of negativity that was just eating away at his willpower against doing something drastic at the moment. He remembered feeling at peace with himself just a few days ago, after that mysterious fairy girl seemed to just understand and help him through his depression, at least. But now? This was different. It wasn't just depression anymore, this was rage, because Tan just didn't understand what he'd done was wrong. Jinx didn't deserve it any more than Tan did himself now, if someone tried to hurt him. The thought was a painful one to Link, but it was quickly buried under more anger: it was his fault for misjudging what kind of person Tan really was in the first place.

Link couldn't pretend it didn't hurt though, because it did hurt. A lot-- he'd come to Tan first after dying, needing some kind of comfort and he would have thought after seeing the wreck he most definitely was, Tan would never try to justify killing someone with that. You kill someone, they're dead; trauma's over. Link gripped his comm tighter in his hand, still left on their cut abruptly short conversation, as he knocked on Herz's door. Loudly.

Herz would know what to do. He always had good solutions when he was upset, and he really needed a distraction before he went and confronted Tan himself. Somehow, Link had a feeling that if he did, it would only make things a lot worse than they already were.
